1) Have a friend beat box for you.
2) Start talking about things in rhythm.
3) Bonus if you can make the ends of your sentences rhyme with each other.
Nothing makes me feel as dumb as free-style rapping. You have to hand it to people who can manage to say one thing and think ahead about a rhyme at the same time, while maintaining coherency.
Even though I find Eminem utterly repulsive on so many levels, he’s pretty brilliant. Watch 8mile and see if you don’t agree.
