Nationwide Disc Report Card

Posted December 12th, 2007

I posted recently about being featured on the homepage of NationwideDisc.com.

Nemo’s Followup

Posted December 11th, 2007

Just a quick note to thank the good people who came out to see us play at Nemo’s. Had about 15-20 people in the room and another 10 or 11 online. Thanks for your support! Here’s a taste of what we did with the ustream.tv webcast. The audio is quite lousy. We’ll need to adjust the input down a bit next time or figure out how to limit the sound somehow.

I’ll be at Rico’s in a couple weeks and we’ll plan on making the live web experience a normal part of the show. Too fun and too easy to not do it!

Posted December 7th, 2007

I don’t know if you’ve ever been home alone and someone shows up just when you need them, unexpectedly, but that’s what this song is about. In fact, it’s a very spiritual song for me.

As a challenge to myself, I’ll often write with strong allegories to see if I can maintain the “cloak” the whole time. I also think it makes music more interesting when things are left a little up to the listeners’ imagination. After all, Carly Simon still hasn’t revealed who the subject of “You’re So Vain” is…
