Here’s a clay-tastic take on my song Almost Flew. It’s my first ever music video and it’s my first attempt at claymation. Maybe the last. The video took about 40-50 hours of shooting and editing. It’s not perfect, but all in all, I’m pretty happy with the result. Let me know what you think!
Oh, and have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Reminds me of something Peter Gabriel might do — I like it a lot, thought I would pass along that comment. BTW, I was wondering if Luke Flowers might have been in on it, since it seems to bear considerable resemblance to the album art.

Nice job…very intensive, and yet very simple and elegant. Congratulations on it!

Thanks guys. Luke’s art obviously inspired the clouds and the bird at the end, but I didn’t bother him with the production of the video.

Jeff, this is absolutely stupendous. And the bird is adorable, too.

Jeff, we just watched your music video for the 3rd time and cannot get enough of that little blue bird! Fabulous and creative and beautiful all to the nth degree. Thanks for daring to create something you’ve never done before. Keep on rockin in the free world! Call us when you hit Tokyo!

LOVE the video. It really spoke to me, and I got a lot from the song when I saw it. It is simple and powerful at the same time. Love it, love it, love it.

Really enjoyed the video. It kept my attention all the way. And I love the spiritual aspect of how God cuts the fetters for us as well and allows us to be free.
Good job!

That’s just simply amazing, Jeff. Great job.

Jeff, your first music video is awesome. The song, the bird, the handwritten font, all of it rocks.
I’ve just stumbled upon your little world here, and have been pleasantly surprised. I plan on buying two albums; one for me and one for my best bud.
Keep up the good work!

Jeff,
That video was awesome, man! It gave me chills. When does the DVD come out?
Love it, man. You’re an amazing talent. I’m with some college buddies this weekend and just showed them the video. I think you’ve got a few more fans.

This was a deeply moving video. I, too, would like a DVD or high quality version of the video–I would love to show it in my classes. Bravo!

The little bird looks strangely like “Buddy”, your favorite pet. For a reminder: http://blog.leoragardner.com/2006/12/01/buddy-and-the-domain-gifts-that-keep-on-giving/

I loved this, the only thing is that I wish i could of seen is the nail print in the wrist of the arm when the string was cut with the sizzors. Because it is JESUS who sets us FREE~!~!~!~!!~~!

Loved it Jeff! I especially liked the transformation from clay to paper at the end, very creative. I suppose very symbolic of how “light” the bird felt after being “untethered”.

I loved this video-it was perfect!
I liked the way the bird looked at the camera and ended up in the try flying free.
